Tourism in South West France.

In the heart of South West France, the Domaine de Lasmouleres offers quality holiday accommodation in a preserved countryside and unspoiled nature.

A set of old style buildings surrounded by pastures was changed into cottages, and hedges of hardy fruit species were planted around the surrounding plots. A natural pool was dug near the pond, an orchard and a gardening area got started. A poulterer, a small barn and a greenhouse for tropical trees were constructed on neighboring parcels.

Lasmouleres holiday cottage is a model of sustainable development. We use solar heating and wood taken from the property. Wind energy is used too, as well as water sources available on site. Our family farming keeps very close to organic farming. This is an alternative to the coming energy and economical challenges ... and makes some delicious jams for the tourists.

The municipality of Saint-Mézard lays between Agen, Astaffort, and the medieval town of Lectoure. It is surrounded by picturesque villages untouched by industrialization and crossed by The Path of St Jacques de Compostella. This region of Southwestern France is known for its gastronomy and etiquette, and attracts more and more visitors in search of greenery and authenticity.

Lasmouleres not only offers the rental of a house, a cottage or farm vacation, with an awakening towards traditional agricultural crops. We also propose numerous activities on site, eg crafts, pottery, painting, and French cooking.

Kids will love the rural setting, the pond and nearby river Gers, the many small farm animals and rides on a donkey. Bicycles are made available to the whole family and guided excursions to the city of Lectoure, medieval villages, and Moissac Abbey are proposed.

Guest rooms rental can be all-inclusive as well, or Bed & Breakfast like. You might wish to discover the culinary specialties of the Southwest of France, Gascony and Armagnac. The homeland for foie gras and Jurançon wine has much to offer.
